The board of directors, having trouble managing tax funds ahead of the interim financial results, decided to drastically cut the budget for this year's health checkups and decided to conduct them in a smaller venue than last year, with a mix of men and women. Naturally, they expected a backlash from within the company, so they made sure to choose the date on a day when a major typhoon would make landfall, a day when they would not be able to escape from the venue.
