DESCRIPTION

妻の母親・友利子が営む民宿へと夫婦揃ってやってきた。妻とは職場で恋愛結婚をしたのだが、結婚してからの妻は旦那のことなどお構いなしにぐうたらな生活をしていた。田舎に来ようと提案したのは旦那の提案だったがそれでも義母友利子は嬉しそうにしていた。夫を亡くし長いこと女手一つで宿を切り盛りしている義母、そんな友利子になにか惹かれるものがあった。実家に帰っても変わらない妻の態度と優しく接してくれる義母・友利子、この時旦那の中で考えてはいけないことが頭の中をよぎっていた。
아내의 어머니·유리코가 영위하는 민박으로 부부가 모여 왔다. 아내와는 직장에서 연애 결혼을 했는데, 결혼한 후의 아내는 남편의 일 등 아무런 상관없이 활기찬 생활을 하고 있었다. 시골에 오려고 제안한 것은 남편의 제안이었지만 그래도 시어머니 이코는 기쁘게 하고 있었다. 남편을 잃고 긴 것 여자 손 하나로 숙소를 담아내고 있는 시어머니, 그런 우리코에게 뭔가 끌리는 것이 있었다. 친가로 돌아가도 변함없는 아내의 태도와 부드럽게 접해주는 시어머니·유리코, 이때 남편 속에서 생각하지 말아야 할 것이 머리 속을 찔렀다.
