DESCRIPTION
At the request of his boss, Mercury, a phantom thief belonging to a secret organization, infiltrates a remote island in Tokyo Bay to steal a jewel called ``Cleopatra's Tears,'' which is worth billions of yen. Mercury arrives at the island owned by Seiichiro Manjome, a man who manipulates the financial world behind the scenes, but as he heads to the building he is aiming for, he is attacked by an unknown creature in the forest. An unknown creature swallows one of Mercury's legs... He manages to fight them off with a knife, but inside the building he enters, the 'head of an ancient man' entangles him with its tongue and swallows him from his feet first, then his head...
秘密組織に属する怪盗マーキュリーはボスの依頼により、時価数十億円もの価値がある‘クレオパトラの涙’という宝石を盗みに、東京湾に浮かぶ孤島に潜入した。万条目誠一郎という財界を裏で操る男が所有するその島にたどり着いたマーキュリーだったが、目指す建物へ向かう最中の森で、未知の生物に襲われてしまう。マーキュリーの片足を飲み込んでいく未知の生物…。何とかナイフで退けるも、進入した建物の中で‘古代人の頭部’に舌でからめとられ、足元から、そして頭から飲み込まれていく…。
비밀조직에 속하는 괴도머큐리는 보스의 의뢰로 시가 수십억엔의 가치가 있는 ‘클레오파트라의 눈물’이라는 보석을 훔쳐 도쿄만에 떠 있는 고도에 잠입했다. 만조메 세이이치로라고 하는 재계를 뒤에서 조종하는 남자가 소유하는 그 섬에 도착한 머큐리였지만, 목표로 하는 건물로 향하는 도중의 숲으로, 미지의 생물에 습격당해 버린다. 머큐리의 한쪽 다리를 삼키는 미지의 생물. 어떻게든 칼로 물러나도, 진입한 건물 속에서 ‘고대인의 머리’에 혀로 얽혀, 발밑에서, 그리고 머리에서 삼켜져 간다….
