DESCRIPTION
Inside the dilapidated monjayaki shop ``Mankyu'' in the downtown area, the owner, Tetsugoro, was weaving his words to Imao. At his bedside, Machiko (Yoko Satomi), the late son's wife who now takes care of Tetsugoro, is transcribing the dictation. Tetsugoro tells Machiko that after he dies, he will sell this shop and find a young man, but he is lost in thought as he remembers that he impregnated women all over Japan during his training days. Meanwhile, a daughter named Minami (Shiori Kanzaki) appears from Osaka, and a son named Shozo appears from Hiroshima. Furthermore, a girl named Momoko (Alice Hayase) from Kyoto joins the group, and the battle for the successor to Mankyu begins.
下町の傾きかけたもんじゃ焼き屋『万きゅう』の店内では主人の鉄五郎が今生への言葉を紡いでいた。枕元では亡き息子の嫁で、今は鉄五郎の下の世話までするマチ子（里見瑤子）がその口述を筆記している。鉄五郎は自分が亡き後はこの店を売り払い、若い男でも捕まえろとマチ子に言うが、修行時代に日本各地で女を孕ませた事を思い出し思案に暮れる。そんな中、大阪から南（神咲詩織）という娘が、広島からは昌造という息子が現れた。更に京都からは桃子（早瀬ありす）という娘も加わり『万きゅう』の跡目争奪戦の火ぶたが切って落とされるのだが…。
시모마치의 기울어진 몬자야키야 '만큐'의 가게 안에서는 주인인 테츠고로가 이번 생에게의 말을 줬다. 베쿠모토에서는 죽은 아들의 며느리로, 지금은 철고로 아래의 돌보는 마치코(사토미 료코)가 그 구술을 필기하고 있다. 철고로는 자신이 사망한 후에는 이 가게를 팔아서, 젊은 남자라도 잡으라고 마치코에게 말하지만, 수행 시절에 일본 각지에서 여자를 묵게 한 일을 떠올리며 사안에 살고 있다. 그런 가운데 오사카에서 미나미(카미사키 시오리)라는 딸이 히로시마에서는 창조라는 아들이 나타났다. 게다가 교토에서는 모모코(와세 아리스)라는 딸도 더해져 『만큐』의 흔적 쟁탈전의 불꽃이 끊어 떨어지는데…
