DESCRIPTION
Yumi (Hitomi Enjo) lost her husband seven years ago and runs a boarding house all by herself. The four lodgers are Osaki, a 10-year-old junior high school student, former Yakuza members Yoneda and Yamaguchi, and his daughter Miyuki (Mary Tachibana). The company's service management includes three meals, cleaning, and laundry, and its homely atmosphere is its selling point. However, the housewives in the neighborhood association are not happy about Yumi and the boarding house, and a woman named Akemi (Miri Kyono) is planning to close down the boarding house and build a new student dormitory. 夫を七年前に亡くし、女手一つで下宿を営む由美（円城ひとみ）。下宿人は10浪中の大崎、元やくざの米田と山口、娘の美由紀（橘メアリー）の4人。三食、掃除、洗濯付きのサービス経営でアットホームな雰囲気が売りだ。しかし、町内会の主婦連中はそんな由実と下宿のことを快く思っておらず、明美（京野美麗）という女が下宿屋を潰して新しい学生寮の建築を目論んでいた。明美は主婦連中を味方につけ、さらに建設予定の大学で学生部長を務める鮫島を色仕掛けで仲間に引き込むのだが…。
