DESCRIPTION
After Masaharu lost his wife near retirement age, he lived with his daughter and her wife, but he was living a life that was unfulfilled both physically and mentally. One day, Shoji gets tired of this situation and starts caring for the elderly as a silver volunteer. However, when Masaharu visits the Oda family, the son and his wife seem to be reluctant to take care of Kiyoko, who is the subject of their care. Masaharu understands Kiyoko's grief as she occasionally returns to her senses, and decides to come every day.
正治は定年退職間際に妻に先立たれた後、娘夫婦と同居していたが、心身ともに満たされぬ生活を送っていた。そんな状況に嫌気がさしたある日、正治はシルバーボランティアとして老人介護を始める。しかし、正治が訪ねた小田家は、息子夫婦が介護対象の清子の世話を嫌がっている様子。時折正気に戻る清子の嘆きを理解する正治は、毎日来ることを決意し…。
