DESCRIPTION
Tamanoi in the early 1950s. At Kofukuya, a popular drinking establishment, many women were spending their spring holidays. Shimako (Miyashita) is fried by the yakuza Shiba (Kanie), and Nako (Oka) is fighting hard to break the record of 26 people in a day set by Shigeko (Nakajima) last New Year. Shigeko's popularity is now on the decline. The landlady (Ezawa) recommends that he change saddles. Meanwhile, Kimiko (Seri), who came to the store as a raw daughter, quit her job to get married.
