DESCRIPTION
A husband was involved in an accident while driving, and his wife Mary, who both worked part-time in the city, went to the "victim's" house later to apologize, bringing a box of sweets. ``Well, I'm pretty sure they're sincere.'' ``Besides, I'm in a lot of trouble because of the injuries I sustained in the accident.'' ``Maybe I can ask my wife to take care of my daily needs.'' Having no choice but to do so, my wife started going to the victim's house the following week after returning from her part-time job.
運転中に人身事故を起こしてしまった夫…共働きで市内でパート仕事をしている妻メアリーは、後日その「被害者様」のお宅へと、夫婦で菓子折を持って謝罪に伺ったのだが…。「まあ、お宅らの誠意は大体分かったからさ」「それより、事故の怪我でいろいろと不自由でさ」「普段の身の回りの世話とか、その辺を奥さんに頼めないかな」そう言われて仕方無く、翌週から、妻はパート帰りに、被害者様のお宅へと通うようになったのだが…。
운전중에 인신사고를 일으켜 버린 남편…공동으로 시내에서 파트 일을 하고 있는 아내 메리는, 후일 그 「피해자님」의 댁으로, 부부로 과자절을 가지고 사과에 묻었지만… 「뭐, 집들의 성의는 대체로 알았으니까」 「그것보다, 사고의 부상으로 여러가지 불편해」 「평소의 몸의 주위의 신세라든지, 그 근처를 부인에게 부탁할 수 있을까」
