DESCRIPTION
My wife always seemed to have complaints about the timid-looking man who lived next door, regarding his manners. From smoking in shared spaces to the day of the week when garbage is taken out, to community association activities, and so on. Being a pacifist, I tried to calm him down by telling him not to cause too much trouble. One day, my wife, who is an officer of the neighborhood association, apparently went alone to our neighbor's room to protest on behalf of the women's section. After that day, I began to notice a clear change in my wife's condition.
隣家にお棲まいのコワモテな風貌の男性に、ウチの妻は常日頃から居住マナーに関する不満を持っているようでした。共有スペースでの喫煙に始まりゴミ出しの曜日なり自治会の活動なり何なり…。平和主義の僕は「あまり波風立てるなよ」と宥めていたのですが…。ある日自治会の役員をしているウチの妻が、婦人部を代表して単身隣人氏の部屋へと抗議に赴いたらしいのです…。その日を境に、妻の様子に明らかな変化が見て取れ始めて…。
이웃집에 서양의 코와모테한 풍모의 남자에게, 우치의 아내는 평소부터 거주 매너에 관한 불만을 가지고 있는 것 같았습니다. 공유 공간에서의 흡연으로 시작되어 쓰레기 배출의 요일이 되어 자치회의 활동이 되어 뭐든지…. 평화주의의 나는 「별로 물결치지 말아라」라고 응하고 있었습니다만… 어느 날 자치회의 임원을 하고 있는 우치의 아내가, 부인부를 대표해 단신 이웃 사람의 방으로 항의에 향한 것 같습니다… 그 날을 경계로, 아내의 모습에 분명한 변화가 보이기 시작하고…
