폭우의 밤, 예약을 하고 있던 민박에 체크인한 기혼 여성·아야. 거기에 같은 방을 예약하고 있었다는 출장중인 직장인 타츠야가 나타나 설마 더블 부킹. 관리회사와도 연락이 되지 않고 그 밤은 ‘모르는 남녀가 한 지붕 아래 하룻밤 보내는’ 것이 되어버린다. 어색한 세상 이야기, 편의점 도시락을 먹으면서 어색하게 말하는 두 사람. 서로의 외로움만이 차분하게 보인다. 뇌명과 함께 갑작스런 정전. 비명이 들리는 쪽으로 달려온 타츠야는 입욕 속에서 김 속의 전라의 아야와 마주해 버렸다. 그리고 말하는 가운데 그녀가 ‘남편이 해외에 있어 혼자다’는 외로움을 안고 있다는 것을 안다. 심야, 그녀를 생각해 자위하고 있던 타츠야를 아야가 발견했을 때, 두 사람의 거리는 결정적으로 무너졌다-「나를, 생각해 주었어?」. 하룻밤 뿐이었을 텐데, 몇 번이나 서로를 찾아, 그 때마다 마음까지도 다가간다.
