☆First DVD☆★Commentary★ The genius Koji Wakamatsu depicts the perverse, sad and pathetic sexuality of three women in an era when male superiority and female supremacy were the norm, in a three-story omnibus format. As long as there are men and women, the conflict between love and desire will never end in society. This is a gruesome historical drama that brings to light the secrets of sex that resemble a hellscape and were hidden in the darkness of history from the Edo period to the Meiji, Taisho, and early Showa periods, which are never brought to light in regular period dramas and dramas. The first episode, Edo Kirishitan, depicts the tragic end of a samurai's daughter who fell in love with a servant of a different status; the second episode, the Meiji and Taisho eras, depicts the horrific torture of a man who was jealous of his wife's affair; and the third episode, the early Showa era, depicts the fate of a man who indulges in an affair with his maid, based on an actual incident.
