크리스마스 이브를 신이치와 함께 보내려는 아오이이지만, 화도부의 부장 켄자키로부터 저녁 식사에 초대되어 버린다. 멈추고 싶다고 아오이는 진이치에게 상담을 갖지만, 솔직하게 될 수 없는 진이치는 아오이를 쫓아버린다. 상도 변함없이 엇갈리는 두 사람의 기분. 하지만 하얀 성야는 그런 두 사람에게 작은 기적을 일으킨다.
