DESCRIPTION
Masaya, a friend of my son's who came to visit, said that his parents divorced when he was young and he grew up without knowing his mother. Saki felt sorry for him, but she also felt a special emotion welling up inside her. This child's loneliness is similar to the loneliness I have felt since my husband left for work alone. This child and I are both hungry for warmth... Saki felt her body tingle as she talked to Masaya. Later, Masaya came to visit when his son was away. Masaya felt the same way.
遊びに来た息子の友達の雅也は幼い頃に両親が離婚して母というものを知らずに育ったという。紗季はその身の上に同情したが、それ以上に特別な感情が沸いてくるのを感じていた。この子の淋しさは夫が単身赴任に出て以来、私が感じている淋しさと似ている。この子も私もぬくもりに飢えているんだ…。雅也と話して紗季は体が疼いていくのを感じた。後日、息子が留守のタイミングを見計らって雅也が訪ねてきた。雅也も同じ気持ちだった。
놀러 온 아들의 친구 마사야는 어렸을 때 부모님이 이혼해 어머니라는 것을 모르고 자랐다고 한다. 사계는 그 몸 위에 동정했지만, 그 이상으로 특별한 감정이 끓어오는 것을 느끼고 있었다. 이 아이의 어리석음은 남편이 단신 부임에 나온 이래 내가 느끼고 있는 어리석음과 비슷하다. 이 아이도 나도 따뜻하게 굶주리고 있는 거야… 마사야와 이야기해 사계는 몸이 얕아가는 것을 느꼈다. 나중에 아들이 부재의 타이밍을 가늠해 마사야가 찾아왔다. 마사야도 같은 기분이었다.
