DESCRIPTION
Motoko lives in a family of three with her husband, Akira, and her husband's stepchild, Hiroya. The family is in a state of flames due to Akira's debt. One day, Motoko receives news from her mother, Tomie, that her father, Yoshio, has committed suicide. The next day, the funeral begins at his parents' home, and all his relatives gather. Her uncle, Makio, approaches Tomie and asks Tomie to remarry, saying, ``Since your brother has also died, why don't we get together?''
素子は夫・朗と夫の連れ子・広矢と三人家族。朗の借金で家庭は火の車状態。そんなある日、素子の父・良夫が自殺したと母・富江から報せを受ける。翌日、実家では葬式が始まり、親戚一同が集まる。叔父の牧夫は富江に近づき「兄貴も死んだことだし一緒にならないか」と再婚話を持ちかけ、富江に迫る…。
소자는 남편·랑과 남편의 동반자·히로야와 세 사람 가족. 낭의 빚으로 가정은 불의 차 상태. 그러던 어느 날, 소자의 아버지·료부가 자살했다고 어머니·토미에로부터 보상을 받는다. 다음날 친가에서는 장례식이 시작되어 친척 일동이 모인다. 삼촌의 마키오는 토미에 가까워져 「형도 죽은 것이고 함께 되지 않을까」라고 재혼화를 들고, 토미에 육박한다…
