母の千里が再婚を決意したという。苦労して女手ひとつで育ててくれた母がやっと幸せを掴もうとしているのに雄介は複雑な心境だった。祝福するべきなのに、湧き上がってくる感情は大好きな母との暮らしが終わってしまう喪失感。そして母を誰にも渡したくないという嫉妬心だった。歪んだ愛情であることは分かっている。でもこの思いを抑えることができない…。その夜、雄介はある覚悟を持って千里が眠る寝室を訪れた。
