DESCRIPTION
The time is Edo. Araharu, an artist, is excommunicated by Utamaro for making money from his master Utamaro's forgeries. One day, Araharu meets Oume, a dumb nighthawk who collects the forgeries he had thrown away at the riverside. Araharu ties up a plum and draws a picture using it as a model, and the picture instantly becomes popular throughout Edo, and the reputation even reaches the Edo shogun.
時は江戸。絵師である荒春は、師である歌麿の贋作で金儲けをした事で歌麿から破門される。ある日、荒春は川辺で自分が捨てた贋作を集める口の利けない夜鷹、お梅と出会う。荒春はお梅を縛り、それをモデルに絵を描くとその絵は瞬く間に江戸中の評判になり、その評判は江戸の将軍のもとまで届く事に…。
때는 에도. 화가인 아라하루는, 스승인 가면의 속작으로 돈벌이를 한 것으로 가면에서 파문된다. 어느 날, 아라하루는 강변에서 자신이 버린 고작을 모으는 입이 없는 밤매, 매화를 만난다. 아라하루는 매화를 묶어, 그것을 모델에 그림을 그리면 그 그림은 순식간에 에도중의 평판이 되어, 그 평판은 에도의 장군의 아래까지 닿는 것에…
