After Kenji moved to Tokyo, he worked as a temporary employee without any particular purpose. However, after working for five years at the company, he was fired this winter due to temporary staffing. Meanwhile, Masako, who lives in the countryside, has a rift with her husband and lives separately. And this spring, Masako couldn't bear the loneliness and headed to Tokyo to meet Kenji...
健二は上京後、特に目的もないまま派遣社員として働いていた。だが5年働いた会社だったが、今冬の派遣切りでクビにされてしまった。健二は母・正子に無職になった事を伝えていなかった。クビにされた惨めな自分を見せたくなかったのだ。一方、田舎で暮らす正子は夫と仲違いをし、別居生活を送っいた。そしてこの春、正子は寂しさに耐えかね、健二に会いに東京に向かったのだった…。
켄지는 상경 후, 특히 목적도 없는 채 파견 사원으로서 일하고 있었다. 하지만 5년 일한 회사였지만, 이번 겨울 파견절로 곰팡이가 되어 버렸다. 켄지는 어머니 마사코에게 무직이 된 것을 전하지 않았다. 곰팡이가 된 비참한 자신을 보여주고 싶지 않았던 것이다. 한편 시골에서 사는 마사코는 남편과 사이의 차이를 하고 별거 생활을 보냈다. 그리고 이번 봄, 마사코는 외로움을 견디지 못하고, 켄지를 만나서 도쿄로 향한 것이었다…
