엘리는 7년 전에 이혼하고 아들의 친권을 남편에게 잡았고, 두 사람은 일년에 한 번만 만날 수 있었다. 그리고 7년이 지나 헤어진 남편이 재혼하고 아들에게도 의리의 어머니가 생겼다. 엘리는 의리의 어머니에게 아들이 빼앗기는 것이 아닐까 신경이 쓰이지 않았다. 이윽고 일년에 한 번의 재회의 날이 왔다. 의리의 어머니가 생긴 후 첫 재회의 날이지만, 엘리의 초조는 피크에 달했다.
