시골 영업소에 결원이 나온 관계로 급히 내 단신 부임이 정해졌다. 신혼이라고 하는 일도 있어 아내는 대반대였지만… 이것만은 어쩔 수 없었다. 부임처는 생각했던 것보다도 시골에서… 근처에 편의점조차 보이지 않는다. 낯선 시골 생활 속 부임처의 아파트를 관리하는 대가인 '하루카씨'의 존재만이 내 마음의 거처가 되었다. 서로가 서로를 의식할 때까지… 그렇게 시간은 걸리지 않았다.
